Blase and I were chatting recently and came back to this concept of an “Idea faire” that has been floating around LEAP for a while now. Here’s what we’re thinking;
We come up with a writing prompt/question, then whoever wants to participate puts their ideas down in writing (or other format, audio, painting, etc?) Your response can be as short or long, formal or informal as you want.
The intent here is just to explore ideas and perspectives a little deeper, and find the common ground in our values and worldviews (as well as interesting points of disagreement). Also, personally, I enjoy keeping up a writing practice.
So, here’s the first prompt we came up with:
“What is truly important?”
