SUMMARY:Learning Talks
DESCRIPTION:Our recent experiment with “lightning talks” on action ideas went well\, so this next meeting we’ll take a similar approach to discuss what we’d like to learn together as members of LEAP\, what information we members feel we can offer\, and what kind of knowledge and understand we want to share with the community at large. Here’s the zoom link: https://antioch.zoom.us/j/6316315140 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLast Sunday the 9th\, we tried a new “lightning talk” format to discuss action ideas we’d like to see happen this year. That went really well\, so we’re going to try applying the same format to discussing education and learning ideas for the coming year. \nPrompts for Meeting\nConsider these prompts to help come up with what you’d like to share. You can address one or several of them. \n\nWhat do I want to learn through LEAP?\nWhat do I know and understand that I’d like to share?\nWhat knowledge & understanding would I like LEAP to share with the community at large?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“The goal of lightning talks is to articulate a topic in a quick\, insightful\, and clear manner. These concise and efficient talks are intended to grab the attention of the audience\, convey key information\, and allow for several presenters to share their ideas in a brief period of time.”\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhile sharing your idea\, if you’d like to I encourage you to share your screen\, using presentation slides\, images\, or website links if you have them. \nSharing is optional\, and nothing in particular is expected. We’ll each be bringing different things to the table\, different kinds of ideas and different ways of sharing them. \nTiming\nWe will gather online on Wednesday the 19th at 7:00pm\, and our conversation will probably go until around 8:30pm. We’re hoping Wednesday evenings will be more accessible for more people\, as some have not been able to make weekends.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBlase Masserant is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. \nTopic: LEAP Zoom Gathering\nTime: Jan 19\, 2021 07:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) \nTopic: Blase Masserant’s Personal Meeting Room \nJoin Zoom Meeting\nhttps://antioch.zoom.us/j/6316315140 \nMeeting ID: 631 631 5140\nOne tap mobile\n+13017158592\,\,6316315140# US (Washington DC)\n+13126266799\,\,6316315140# US (Chicago) \nDial by your location\n+1 301 715 8592 US (Washington DC)\n+1 312 626 6799 US (Chicago)\n+1 646 876 9923 US (New York)\n+1 253 215 8782 US (Tacoma)\n+1 346 248 7799 US (Houston)\n+1 669 900 6833 US (San Jose)\nMeeting ID: 631 631 5140\nFind your local number: https://antioch.zoom.us/u/acHylXVVf8\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
